In 1998, FOR KIDS ONLY!, now online as Kids News, Inc., children’s newspaper, a division of Kids News, Inc. was founded by journalist and author, Karen Tortorella. Kids News, Inc. gives kids a voice. It is news kids use and talk about to other kids!
We have tapped into the writing talents of hundreds of kid cub reporters in New Jersey covering many national stories of interest to kids and their families. Kids News Inc. covers news, the environment, social issues, entertainment, and sports from a kids point of view and looks into kid’s opinions about everything!
Now we are available online with the new Kids News,Inc. website. Kids throughout the United States and the world can enjoy KNI, and have a chance to contribute to KNI and to communicate with other kids. Kids are encouraged to send in interesting stories about their communities in their corner of the world.
Kids and parents can find fun facts, activities and information about national events and happenings. KNI works with national and international book, toy and film companies, and news agencies to keep kids informed. KNI will bring you the latest trends, news and innovations for kids!
In the premiere online issue of Kids News, Inc., kids can get an inside scoop about the life and career of Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin in a interview written by Kids News Inc., cub reporter Rebecca Pauley.
You will also see an interview with Saorise Ronan, also an academy award nominee for her role in Atonement, now featured in the upcoming fantasy movie City of Ember. Kid golfer, MacKenzie Kline who competes in LPGA tournaments will surprise you with her unusual story, and you’ll find a cub interview with Nat and Alex Wolff of Nickelodeon’s hit series The Naked Brothers, as well as an KNI interview with another teen Miranda Cosgrove talking about her Nick hit, i Carly and her life outside of the show.

Meerkat Manor executive producer Mick Kaczorowski gave cub Jessica Beyda an inside look at the taping of Animal Planet’s popular Meerkat Manor.
